How the time has flown by since she come into the world. In 2 days time Lily will be 5 months old! Wow, unbelievable. I feel as though I am only now starting to emerge from the cocoon I have been in for the past 5 months. Although I do so love being wrapped in the loveliness that is motherhood and the utter bewilderment and adoration that comes with the job. As you can imagine she is a little bigger now:
The photo above was taken a few weeks ago. Lily and I were having a 'chat' when out of nowhere she pulled the funniest face. She screwed her little face up and held her lips together. I then realised she was trying to do a raspberry! She kept doing this for a good ten minutes and had us in stitches (by us I mean myself and her dad, Dave, my loving fiance.) Thankfully we managed to get some of her antics on video. She is the best.

Well it has only taken me about 5 hours to get this post done, so by that standard I don't think this will be a regular occurrence. I hope I do blog often though as I am hoping other first time mums out there will help me with the myriad of questions I constantly have regarding my little one.Anyway that's enough for tonight. Best get some rest before the wake-up calls I'll be receiving throughout the night!
